I finished quite a long stint at Dare West recently. Dare’s Bristol branch is small enough to be friendly and fun but with the client list of a much larger outfit, and I’ve worked on brands like BMW, B&Q, Diageo, Premier Inn, Sainsburys, Sony & Virgin.

I made this poster as a cheap Christmas present. The quote is a well-known Calvin Coolidge one and the poster is supposed to take its visual cues from an SSL desk. It was all done by hand with Karisma pencils.

The Prince’s Trust asked me to help with some copywriting for their inaugural Evening Of Art in the South West, and I edited, fleshed out and standardised 36 artist biographies for the auction catalogue, as well as a letter to donor artists. The evening raised £74,000 for local Prince’s Trust projects; shown above is an auction piece by Nick Park.
